C&L TRUEFLOW 5.0 THUNDERBIRD AND 1994+ THUNDERBIRD 4.6L

Owners of the 5.0 Thunderbird and 1994+ Thunderbird 4.6L vehicles can recieve a nice performance boost with one of our 73mm units combined with a K&N filter in the factory assembly. Performance testing has shown a horsepower gain of approximately 11 rear wheel horsepower, with a reduction in the vehicles' 0-60 time of 1/2 second. It is recommended that you remove the factory intake silencer located below the lower half of the air filter assembly. It can be removed from under the front of the vehicle once you have removed the nuts on the studs located under the factory air filter box. Our machined 76mm unit may also be used in this application, but the 73mm is more than sufficient to handle the airflow needs of these vehicles.
