VII. DYNO TEST - VEHICLE 4
Tommy Rignola from Brooklyn, NY provided us with the following dyno
results from his personal testing of our NEW C&L upper intake
plenum and the 75mm BBK throttle body on his 2003 Mustang GT. Prior to
testing this new combo, his vehicle generated a peak of 259.1 rear wheel
HP and 300.4 ft/lbs of torque. This was accomplished with the following
modifications:
C&L 85mm MAF system with C&L inlet pipe
Steeda Timing Adjuster (set a 14 degrees)
Magnaflow Cat X-pipe
Magnapack Cat-Back
4.10 gears
After switching out his stock plenum and throttle body to our new unit
with the 75mm BBK, his peaks jumped up to 269.5 HP and 310.0 ft/lbs of
torque for a peak-to-peak gain of 10.4 HP and 9.6 ft/lbs of torque.
These were the only changes made to the vehicle between the two tests.
If you are in the NY/NJ area, keep an eye out for Tommy at your local
track. In June, MM&FF magazine hosted a shootout at Englishtown and
Tommy won his class in that race. It was the first time for him to race
this vehicle. Congratulations Tommy!
